First Chrstmas

We had the best Christmas in Fort Worth! It was so wonderful to be around all of our family and to watch everyone share the joy of Davis's first Christmas! It was such a special week! We are so blessed to have such amazing families- it ended much to fast!

 We also took Davis to the Fort Worth Zoo for the first time!

9 months

Can't believe our sweet baby is already 9 months old!

• What a difference a month makes! You officially started crawling on Nov. 24th, and have really mastered it! You can get around now like a pro and are very fast. You have also started to pull yourself up on any piece of furniture or toys. You still haven't really figured out how to get down from standing (except to just fall), but you will very soon!
• You are a very busy boy! You love to get down and explore and are not happy being held for very long or being put in any stationary object (exersaucer, or pack n' play). 
• Your favorite thing/toy...DOORS! You will crawl to any door that you see and sit down and push it open and closed. You could do this over and over all day if we would let you...but Mommy and Daddy are always worried about you pinching your little fingers. You also love Mommy's car keys. You throw a fit if you have had them and I take them away from you. You still love your books: favorites now are; Twinkle, Twinkle, You're My Star, and Busy Bear. We think that you say "twinkle, twinkle" whenever we read/sing that book! You're so smart! 
• You love to watch Witten walk all around and will try to crawl over to him if you see him laying down...he's still much faster than you though and will quickly walk just far enough away from you. 
• This month you had your first Thanksgiving in Fort Worth with family and have gotten to see your first Christmas tree in our home! You love to look at and touch all of the lights on the tree and all of the shiny ornaments. You also like to try and crawl under the tree to get to Witten when he's napping underneath.
• You are wearing 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers. 
• You are still eating like a pro! You eat very well at every mealtime and love to snack on Mum Mums and Puffs.
  
  We can't wait to celebrate your first Christmas in just a few days! Holidays are so much more fun and meaningful with you in our lives. We love you more and more every day! :)
